Congratulations on the 10u Heat team winning the MAJOR Iowa State Championship solidfying that they are in fact the best team in Iowa! The 8u team also did a great job going to state and coming back with 3rd place in a really large field. What a great year for that group of young boys. The 13u Red team and 14u team also went to state and came back finishing in the top 8 out of a very large and difficult class.

Established as a baseball academy in 2001, the Quad City Heat has made a positive impact on youth in the state of Iowa and on the national level. In our year of existence, our primary goal is still to provide an educational and national-level competitive baseball program that focuses on learning, fundamentals, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship. For the 2013 season, the Quad City Heat has formed 9 teams after our tryouts. The tryouts this fall were very successful and we are looking forward to watching the competitive Quad City Heat play next season and also are looking forward to them bringing home some more state championships and possible World Series titles. The Quad City Heat has built a tradition of success. Over the past 5 seasons, the Heat has won more state titles and has been in the state championship game more than any other Quad City, Iowa or Illinois organization. The Heat has also finished in the highest major spot nationally for an Iowa team, has won 2 of the last 3 10u Major state titles, and was the first to have a team from Iowa to go back to back to the prestigious Elite USSSA World Series at DIsney World in Orlando, Florida. Our success is built based on having experienced and knowledgable coaches, some that have coached and trained high school and local college players. To date we have won 7 state championships and 4 state runner ups and 1 World Series title. The Quad City Heat is proud to be the first and longest running traveling organization based out of Davenport, Iowa. Their home fields are Knight's Field , Lingle Field, and Jefferson Ballpark. Knights Field and Rexco Field are located at 1111 West 35th Street Davenport, Iowa, which was built by the Lingle family, the founders of the Quad City Heat Organization. Knight's field is "One of the most impressive baseball diamonds in the Quad Cities...out of all the diamonds." (Bleacher Beat, 2001). Jefferson Ballpark on the other hand is the field that is allowing the Heat to expand and grow to older groups as Jefferson Ballpark is large enough to accommodate 13-14 year olds and possibly high school as USSSA baseball moves a high school program into the state. Also, with an all dirt infield surface, it allows for all ages to play there as well. During the week, the Heat plays in the Mississippi Valley Baseball League against other competitive teams and on weekends plays some of the top teams in the nation in local, state, and national tournaments. The Quad City Heat Baseball program thanks everyone for becoming a part of the Quad City Heat. Without your support the Quad City Heat would not be able to be such a success and would not be able to grow in future years. MORE ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION!! ORGANIZATIONAL SCHEDULE OF ALL THE TEAMS
